Good Morning - hope you got some sleep last night. Hug those Babies of your (don't tell them I called them babies). I'm so thankful for everyone on this site - they truly are a great group of folks as I know you've come to realize. Let us know if there's anything you need.

You'll continue to be in my thoughts and prayers throughout your recovery and this journey into a healthy new life.

Welcome home and welcome to the "loser's bench".   The trach is a minor inconvenience on your road to better health.  It will be over and done with before you know it.   Congratulations!

Let us know how we can be of help or encouragement.

Welcome home.  I know you must be glad to be out of the hospital.  I know I was.  This site is so great for support.  I am grateful that I found it too.  Walk and sip.  Those are the words to live by for the next few weeks.  Take care and enjoy the RIDE!

Hey Kiddo! The worst part's over now and all you have to do is follow doc's advice and sip and move as much as you can and before you know even the trach will be gone. (Not to mention the excess pounds). Welcome to the bench.

{{{{{{{{{{HUGS!!!!!!!!!!}}}}}}}}}}  Girl, you had us worried to pieces over here!!!!!!!!!!  We are so glad you are home safe now with your family!  My family all knows "Emelinda"...we all packed up the protein for you, I had told them the day before that "Emelinda is having her surgery tomorrow!", and then they have been getting my Annie updates.  :)  You've had a big cheering squad behind you...all over NC!  :)  Take good care and enjoy watching yourself shrink right before your very eyes...it's truly an amazing process!
